Year 6 blog, day 3:

Action-packed adventures continue!

Another exciting day has flown by in Devon and our Year 6 children have continued to throw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, determination and big smiles!

Today has been packed with adventure as the children tackled the assault course, demonstrated impressive focus during archery, challenged themselves with climbing and abseiling and headed onto the water for kayaking and surfing. Whether they were conquering fears, developing new skills or cheering on their friends, the children embraced every opportunity and showed fantastic resilience throughout the day.

It has been wonderful to see their confidence continue to grow as they encourage one another, celebrate each other's achievements and work together as a team. The instructors have once again commented on the children's excellent listening skills, positive attitudes and exemplary behaviour, making us all incredibly proud.

Between activities, the children have enjoyed spending time together, chatting, laughing and making memories that will stay with them long after the residential has finished.

This evening, after another delicious dinner, the children are looking forward to a fantastic disco, showing off their best moves, before settling down for another well-earned night's sleep.

Everyone is having a fantastic time and making the most of every moment. We can't wait to see what tomorrow's adventures will bring!
