What a fantastic first day!
Our Year 6 children have had a brilliant start to their residential adventure!
After leaving school at 8:00am this morning, the children enjoyed a smooth journey, stopping at the services along the way, before arriving around lunchtime.
Since arriving, they have wasted no time getting stuck into their first exciting activities. Throughout the afternoon, the children have taken part in climbing and abseiling, tackled the assault course, tested their skills in archery and explored the beautiful coastline.
We are incredibly proud of the way the children have represented our school. They have demonstrated exemplary behaviour throughout the day, listening carefully to the instructors, encouraging one another and embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.
The children are currently enjoying a well-earned dinner before taking part in this evening's activities, which include either a scavenger hunt or a campfire. We are sure they will have lots more stories to share after another fun-filled evening.
We look forward to sharing more updates over the next few days as their adventure continues!
