Girl’s Football:

Smiles, Rain and Brilliant Football!

Our girls’ football team recently had the fantastic opportunity to compete in the Football County Finals at Stoneham Football Ground—and what a day it was!

After qualifying for the finals, the team knew they would be facing some very strong competition from across the county...and they certainly did! Every match was tough, fast-paced and required the girls to dig deep, work together and keep believing in themselves.

What impressed me the most was their incredible resilience. No matter how challenging the games became, they kept battling for every ball, encouraging each other and showing brilliant teamwork. They never gave up and played with real determination from the first whistle to the last.

And just to make things more interesting… the rain decided to join us too! But even the grey skies couldn’t dampen their spirits. The girls kept smiling, laughing and enjoying every moment, proving that a bit of rain is no match for a team that loves playing football.

We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented our school. Their resilience, positivity and team spirit were outstanding and they showed exactly what school sport is all about.

Well done to our amazing girls’ football team—you did us proud!
