Reading Ambassador blog:

Our Reading Ambassador Team is overrun with activities and jobs this half term! 

Our first activity is a trip for 8 Reading Ambassadors to Mansel Park to meet local MP, Satvir Kaur. The children will be presenting to her what we have been up to across the year and how we promote reading for pleasure across all of our schools. They’ve practiced incredibly hard and have so much to tell her! 

Our second activity is another 8 children heading back to Mansel Park for a Reading Championship competition; imagine all the brilliant books they’ll have to read to be ready for that!

Miss Leonard is also in the process of getting together all of the evidence to achieve the Southampton Bronze Reading Award for our school. What a brilliant achievement that will be for our Reading Ambassadors; next year they will be able to work towards the silver too!
