Year 3 & 4 Take on the Multiskills Festival!
This week, some of our Year 3 and 4 pupils swapped the classroom for the sports hall and headed up to the secondary school for an action-packed Multiskills Festival – and what a brilliant time they had!
Run by the fantastic sports leaders, the festival was made up of lots of different stations, each one testing a new skill. From throwing, catching and balancing to running, jumping and dodging like secret agents, the children moved around the stations giving everything a go. There were plenty of laughs, a few “oops!” moments and lots of cheering each other on.
The sports leaders did an amazing job explaining the activities, encouraging everyone and keeping the energy high – and our pupils rose to the occasion. They listened carefully, showed great teamwork and threw themselves into every challenge with big smiles (and slightly red faces!).
Teachers were incredibly proud of the children’s behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the event. They represented the school beautifully, showed respect to the leaders and each other and proved that having fun and working hard go hand in hand.
A huge thank you to the secondary school and sports leaders for hosting such a fun festival. Year 3 and 4 came back tired, happy and already asking, “When can we do that again?”
