Year 3 and 4 Crosscounty:

What a fantastic day our Year 3 and 4 pupils had at the Cross Country Competition!

With the sun shining, it was the perfect setting for an exciting day of racing. For many of our children, this was their first experience of competitive running and they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Every pupil showed amazing energy, enthusiasm and determination from start to finish.

We were especially thrilled to have one of our runners achieve an incredible second place finish out of over 100 runners—an outstanding accomplishment!

What really made the day special though, was the team spirit. One child even created a poster to cheer on their friends, showing the true sportsmanship and supportive ethos of our school. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging each other along the way.

Mr Scorey and Miss McIlorum were so proud of all the pupils, who represented the school brilliantly.

A sunny day, fantastic effort, and lots of smiles—well done, everyone!
