Year 5 and 6 blog:

It was wonderful to welcome our Year 5 and 6 parents and carers into school to experience first-hand how we teach arithmetic.

Our children loved becoming the experts, sharing the strategies and methods they use in class and challenging their grown-ups to have a go too! From card games and practical activities to tackling calculations together, there was a real buzz for maths in every classroom.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the session such a success. It was fantastic to see children and adults learning, talking and enjoying maths together!
