3M have been putting their brains through their paces this half term, working incredibly hard to develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills!
The children have thoroughly enjoyed tackling tricky mathematical challenges, putting their thinking skills to the test and exploring different strategies to help them find solutions. From working logically and spotting patterns to using trial and error, they have been learning that there is often more than one way to solve a problem!
It has been fantastic to see the children showing resilience, perseverance and determination, even when faced with challenges that really make them think. They have been developing their confidence in explaining their reasoning, justifying their answers and learning from one another through mathematical discussions.
