Year 6 blog:
Today was pancake day (as well as croissants, bacon, eggs and fresh fruit salad )!
With our tummies full we headed out for the day’s activities. All of us were on the beach for games which included a quick history lesson from instructor Tom about a scary looking house overlooking the sea and some very expensive beach huts.
The beach was stunning today and we set about playing football, frisbee and finally a sandcastle completion. The standard was extremely high.
With the temperature rising, we had a welcome cooling in the River Torridge with river rafting and kayaking on the agenda, whilst some underground fun was had by others in the tunnels.
After showering off, it was barbecue time with hotdogs, chicken and burgers to fuel us for the highlight of the week: the disco !!
To round off the evening and reflect, we revisited the hill to watch the glorious sunset.
It’s been quite a week but it has thoroughly enjoyed by all and we will all have some great memories to hold onto!
