Year 6 blog:
After a great night’s sleep, we were all more than ready for another cooked breakfast (some of us even had seconds!) Then, it was time to get geared up for our morning activities.
Some of us headed to the beach for surfing and body boarding whilst others set off to investigate the seashore.
Surf was up! And so were a most of us, riding waves all the way to shore! We all agreed this was the best activity so far. Many treasures and sea glass were discovered in the rock pools by our friends on the beach.
All that sea air meant that lunch was on our minds: a picnic in the sunshine was a welcome break and we enjoyed catching up with our friends.
In the afternoon, we found some welcome shade on the assault course and in the underground tunnels and some of us even took to the water for some rafting fun!
Curry for dinner and even those who hadn’t tried it before were in agreement it was delicious, especially the Naan bread!
After dinner, the scavenger hunt got the competition going for many, whilst others rounded off a perfect Wednesday with some wide games. The evening session of yoga was also a real highlight!
Everybody was yawning and looking forward to bed and even more fun tomorrow!
