Last week, the children discovered that mice had been visiting our polytunnel. We spent time talking about what mice like to eat and explored different books to learn more about them.

Before nursery finished on Wednesday, we set up a wildlife camera and left out some seeds to see if we could capture photos of our furry visitors. However, we got a wonderful surprise! Instead of mice, we caught a very hungry robin enjoying the seeds. He returned frequently over the weekend, visiting the polytunnel for plenty of meals.

This unexpected visitor has us wondering: what other wildlife do we have hiding in our gardens?
