MusicFest 2025
This term’s Music Festival was a truly wonderful celebration of the musical talents and skills our primary children have been developing throughout the year. From the sweet melodies of recorders to the bright tones of trumpets and the cheerful strumming of ukuleles, the festival showcased a fantastic range of instruments and the progress our children have made. It was a musical extravaganza organised and led by Showcase Music, a dedicated team who work with our children weekly to nurture their passion for music and help build their skills.
One exciting highlight this year was the introduction of ensemble pieces performed by our Year 6 students. These group performances were a new addition to the festival and beautifully demonstrated the culmination of all their hard work over the year. It was truly inspiring to see how their efforts came together in these final pieces, showing both their growth and teamwork.
We aimed to include as many children as possible from across the whole school in the Music Festival, ensuring everyone had the chance to take part in a variety of musical pieces. It was truly delightful to hear our very own Pip & Pap theme tune being sung with such enthusiasm and pride by our children—it made the event even more special and memorable for all involved.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have the talented Showcase Music team enriching our school community, and the children thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the festival. We would like to extend a big thank you to all the parents for their wonderful feedback and positive comments about the event. Your support means so much to us.
With all this success behind us, we’re already excitedly looking ahead and starting to plan for Music Fest 2026!
