Celebrating Harvest Together:

What a wonderful celebration of Harvest we enjoyed as a school!

Our Harvest Assembly gave us the opportunity to come together and reflect on all that we have to be thankful for, while also thinking about how we can support others within our local community. We were delighted to welcome visitors from The Ascension Church, who joined us for this special celebration and helped us to think about the true meaning of Harvest – gratitude, generosity and sharing with others.

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our families. Our Harvest table quickly grew into an incredible display of tins, packets, jars, cupboard essentials, toiletries and fresh produce, including a fantastic selection of home-grown pumpkins and vegetables from our school grounds!

All of the donations collected will be given to Southampton City Mission Basics Bank, helping to provide essential food and household items to local individuals and families who need a little extra support.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Every single item, whether large or small, has contributed to something much bigger. It was wonderful for our children to see first-hand what can happen when a whole school community works together to make a difference.

A perfect example of our children and families helping to become architects of a better world.

Thank you for your incredible generosity and for making our Harvest celebration so special!
