Our Girls Shine in Southampton Football Competition!

We are bursting with pride after watching our amazing girls’ football team compete in the Southampton Football Competition! With 15 schools taking part, the girls showed incredible skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

From the very first match, it was clear that this team was something special. Their listening skills were exceptional—they followed strategies, supported each other on the field and worked as a true unit. Our goalkeeper was phenomenal, making some crucial saves that kept us in the game, while the team scored lots of fantastic goals that had everyone cheering!

Thanks to their hard work and teamwork, our girls came second overall, earning the incredible opportunity to represent Southampton in the County Competition. This is a huge achievement and we couldn’t be prouder of how they played together, encouraged each other and showcased their talent.

Well done to every single member of the team—you’ve made the whole school incredibly proud! We can’t wait to cheer you on as you take on the County Competition next.
