Year 6 Swimming Lessons at The Quays
This week, 6H have been taking part in swimming lessons at The Quays in Southampton. The sessions have given them the chance to build on their water confidence, develop important life skills and practise swimming techniques that will help keep them safe.
The children have shown real determination and enthusiasm during their time in the pool. They are working hard to improve their stamina, refine their strokes and challenge themselves to reach new goals.
Ziyan shared:
“I am enjoying swimming; sometimes it is challenging. We have been able to practise for our futures.”
Cass added:
“I’m finding it exciting and enjoyable. We are becoming more confident.”
It has been wonderful to see how much progress everyone is making and the encouragement they give to one another shows just how supportive they are as a team. We are very proud of their achievements so far and look forward to seeing their swimming skills continue to grow.
