Year 1 Library Trip

During this half term, Year 1 have been visiting Corbett Library and getting a chance to explore and choose a book to bring home with them. There was lots to choose from, including non-fiction and fiction books. 

Our librarian, Katherine, had a discussion with us about the importance of looking after our library books and keeping them in good condition so they can be returned for another child to enjoy. We then used our library cards to check out books. Both the children and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the library and Katherine and the other volunteers are looking forward to welcoming us back with our families and friends. Did you know that you can borrow 20 library books during one visit?
