Year 6 blog:

What an incredible day in Year 6! We were joined by the popular author of books such as ‘Boy 87’ and ‘Lost’, Ele Fountain.

Ele talked to us all about where she gets the inspiration from her stories (that have roots in ‘Sanctuary’ and ‘Eco’ just like our school) and how she started out as a writer. She told us that she likes to visit the exotic places that she writes about and how her books have changed and evolved over time - just like our writing does!

Ele was a kind and inspirational person who answered all of our carefully-considered questions and even signed our books for us. Thank you, Ele!
