Lunchtime Success!

Bitterne Park has embarked on an exciting new adventure at lunchtime to create a more engaging, inclusive and enjoyable experience for all pupils.

Today, we launched a zoning initiative that offers the children the freedom to choose from different areas designed to include all.

The Sports Zone allows for active play and friendly competition, while the Quiet Zones, including a drawing and reading area, provide a peaceful space to relax and unwind. Meanwhile, the Equipment Zone offers a chance to enjoy various activities, like using bats and balls or dancing to music.

The launch was a huge success, with the children more engaged and excited about lunchtimes and able to relax, have fun and recharge after a busy day of learning. This new approach ensures every child has the opportunity to enjoy their lunch break in a way that suits them best. 

We cannot wait for more sunshine and to see how the lunchtimes evolve and grow!
