Year R blog:

This week we had the pleasure of introducing Year R children and families to the universe of Pip and Pap.

We have been practicing our song 'it's time to start our day with phonic.' We were able to sing it for our families.

We have been exploring Rainbow Phase phonics which explores early phonics sounds.  We have been practicing listening to sounds, rhymes and story language. 

We have enjoyed look at the different stories today and the things Pip and Pap get up to in the forest! We designed our own tree and looked at rainbow books along with trying the sounds we have learned. 

We finished our session with our goodbye song. 

We hope to see our parents at the next one!
