Year 6 Adventure - Day 1

Filled with excitement and jubilation, the children and staff have all arrived safely. Following a break for lunch en route, they bounded off the coaches and straight into their first activities, which ranged from surfing, beach games and seashore trails. Who rode the biggest wave? Who jumped the furthest? Who found the largest crab? These are all questions that will be answered on their return (amongst all the other tales), I’m sure!

After a delicious dinner, the first day ended with a campfire, where the children had the opportunity to have a go at lighting their own fire using flint and steel, before sitting back and enjoying the heat emanating from the cracking flames of the centre piece.

Retiring to bed, the exhaustion of the day took over and thoughts turned to the fun that lies ahead. What will tomorrow bring, apart from a scrumptious cooked breakfast obviously?!
