We have been learning about an engaging topic; raising awareness

through a campaign. Using the story ‘The Journey’, children have delved into the text and stepped into the character’s shoes by creating freeze frames based on the events. Chaos. Community. Sanctuary. The children are now experts in confidently using this terminology through collaborative group activities.

Dolphin. Fish or Mammal?  Do all birds fly?

We have been super scientists this term with classifying and identifying different animals and their features. Children have been learning about our new staff member… MRS NERG. She loves all things that Move, Reproduce, are Sensitive, absorb Nutrients, Excrete waste, Respire and Grow – have you realised yet?
