The children had a great time with members of the Rotary Club and the council, planting almost 1000 crocus blubs on our school site. Not only will this create a striking, effective display of colour in the spring, but it will also help to raise awareness for efforts to end polio. We were also lucky enough to be joined by the Mayor, Councillor Peter Baillie, who got his hands dirty and planted some of the bulbs with us.
"This is great, it's so much fun." Isla, Year 2
"Our school will look so pretty with all these purple flowers." Katie, Year 4
"We are doing this to help people to end polio." Magda, Year 6
Many thanks to the Rotary Club and the council for their support with this great project.
