Jim Lad the pirate!

As part of our English work this half term we have been looking at Jim Lad the pirate

A perfect ship-shape invitation ....... "Ahoy Maties". Jim Lad has been in contact with the Year 1 classes this term and has asked if they would like to come aboard his ship for a party that will be known across the seven seas! However, we need some salty sea dogs and swash-buckling pirates to be invited as well. 

Jim Lad has challenged Year 1 to send out an invitation to the rest of their friends and crew to describe the pirate ship which they will be partying on. The children need to use all their sound knowledge, as well as wow words (adjectives) to help ensure that all the pirates in the ocean find their way to the correct destination. Wait for your invitation, it's a message in a bottle to be washed ashore near you at some point soon! Hope to see all hands on deck!
