Year 4

Cracking classification

Year 4 have started to deepen their knowledge to classify animals. Although we can confidently use MRS GREN, we now know that Carl Linnaeus developed a more stringent system to classify a range of living things into groups. We know the distinct groups of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish and how they are distinguished. Thinking like a scientist has given us the opportunity to develop our note taking skills, as well as a range of ways of presenting this information.

We cannot wait to find out more about living things.
