Year 6 Adventure day 4

From high wire acts to disco diva dance moves.

After waking the children up from deep sleeps today (all the activities are clearly tiring then out!), they needed no further encouragement as they devoured pancakes and pastries for breakfast, giving them a 5* rating!

Another action packed day followed, with rafting, high rope climbing, abseiling and discovering natural treasures when rock pooling. Incredible bravery and resilience was demonstrated by all as they pushed themselves to new heights (quite literally!) on the high ropes course or climbing and abseiling.

The children absolutely loved their final time on the river, rafting, racing around the side of the rafts trying not to fall in and getting each other as wet as possible with epic water battles! 'Rafting was incredible!'

The day culminated with the children showcasing some outstanding dance moves at the disco, dancing to all of their favourite songs! A limbo contest ensued and everyone was impressed by the children’s flexibility! There is sure to be a good night's sleep for all after such another enthralling day.

Tomorrow brings their last morning at Skern Lodge but it is sure to still be filled with fun and laughter, before they return home for what I am sure will be a very early night (after they have told you about every minute of their fantastic trip away)! Let’s hope there are no tears on departure!
