Year 3 Blog

Year 3 have had a fabulous start to Summer 1! 

We have started our new writing unit, which is a journey narrative based on the story of 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane'. Last term, we read this as our class story and really enjoyed exploring how Edward's character changed as a result of his different experiences after he fell off the Queen Mary! We are so excited to learn more about the story. We have got some fabulous mini-writes coming up where we can practise our skills linked to building tension and taking the reader on a journey, which we cannot wait to share with you!
