Mud, mud, glorious mud!

It is gardening season and Year 1 have been busy digging and getting muddy!

On Thursday afternoon, we went out to plant some bulbs that Mr Tomkins gave us from his allotment. We will be down regularly to water and check on them and see how our vegetables are growing.

Dig, Dig, Dig is what our teachers kept saying. In preparation for the wildflowers to be sown, we started to remove the top layer of grass so that we could then start planning the seeds.

Indoors, we have also planted our strawberry seeds and we can’t wait to see them blossom into flowers and then watch the fruits grow from the pollen.

We will keep you updated on our progress.
